Question:

Why shouldn't I just send my dog to a near by kennel?

Answer:

A lot of dogs are not use to being away from home. Going to an unknown place and being handled by numerous different people can be extremely stress full on dogs. If your dog is not socialized or even if they are, being around so many different dogs at one time can also be very stressful. It is very easy for your dog to catch a virus at kennels. Numerous of canine viruses are airborne; even if your dog is vaccinated it does not guarantee them to not come home sick. If you have a young dog or a senior dog they are more susceptible to these viruses because they have lower immune systems.

Question: When I come home from work my dog is so crazy and they chewed up my new pair of shoes! What should i do?

Answer: Sounds like your dog has too much energy and isn't getting enough exercise. That is where we come in. You can schedule us for any day at any time to come and walk your dog. We can take your dog on a long walk or play with a ball or anything else your dog likes to do for fun. A exercised dog is a happy dog!

Question: I just got a puppy and he’s driving me nuts! He eats everything and urinates everywhere! HELP!

Answer: Young dogs need a lot of attention. You can bring your dogs to happy paws for a few hours or as long as you need. Bring them any day of the week to get rid of all that energy. We will also work with your dog on teaching it to go to the bathroom outside. We will also help your dog socialize with other dogs. The prime time to socialize your dog with other dogs is between 4 to 8 weeks. If you don’t socialize your dog they can become fearful or aggressive with other dogs. This can be very hard to reverse.

Question: My dog will not listen to me! He is always running away or jumping on people when they come in the house. What can I do?

Answer: All dogs should know basic obedience. Basic obedience can be very helpful in all situations. No dog is too young or too old to learn new tricks.
